Julie Baliva, Sugar Creek's Administrative Assistant and Small Group Coordinator, came to Sugar Creek after seven years as a special education aide at Chatham schools. She has a long history of community and church involvement.
Julie says that God has has been preparing her to minister to others through nurturing, organizing, and working with small groups. She finds guidance from Women's Small Groups, friends, gardening . When Julie is not hard at work at the church, she is with her husband Dominic (Structural Engineer) and her son's Nathan (voice of the Peoria Chiefs) and Zach (production assistant for John Wells Production Company.)
