Sugar Creek Church is located in the rapidly growing community of Chatham, IL, (southern Sangamon county) just a few miles south of Springfield. Nearby communities include; Glenarm, New City, Auburn, Divernon, Pawnee, and Rochester.
Directions from Interstate 55
From the North:
Take Interstate 55 south toward St. Louis. After crossing Lake Springfield take Exit 88 (the Chatham exit). Turn right on the frontage road and go approximately .8 of a mile and turn right onto Chatham Road. Go approximately 200 yards and turn left on New City Road (watch for Sugar Creek Church sign at the left corner near the privacy fence. If you go past the Glenwood Jr./Sr. High complex you have gone too far). Travel on New City Road approximately 1½ miles. You will see Sugar Creek Church on the right side of the road across from Ball Elementary School.
From the South:
Take Interstate 55 north toward Chicago to Exit 88 (the Chatham exit). At the end of the ramp turn left and go approximately 1 mile. Turn right onto Chatham Road. Go approximately 200 yards and turn left on New City Road (watch for Sugar Creek Church sign at the left corner near the privacy fence. If you go past the Glenwood Jr./Sr. High complex you have gone too far). Travel on New City Road approximately 1½ miles. You will see Sugar Creek Church on the right side of the road across from Ball Elementary School.
